Zonbu needs Rhapsody – TiVo just got it…

Rhapsody LogoI’ve written extensively about the power of the Rhapsody service to help drive adoption of the Zonbu.

In fact, I forecast that the availability to Rhapsody on the Zonbu would be enough to justify its purchase for any serious music fan. Everything else it can do would just be gravy. The Zonbu as the ideal media playback device in the living room? Some users are already deploying it for that…

Apparently I’m not the only one who sees value in the Rhapsody service. TiVo recently announced that it will make music streamed from Rhapsody available on its users televisions via their TiVo video recorders. Which reminds me, isn’t the TiVo Linux based too?

Rhapsody might be very cool, but you can only use it from within the US … 😦
I tried to start it from Germany and was told …

    U.S. Only
We’re sorry. We have detected that you are outside of the United States. This service is currently only available to residents within the United States.

But it would be great … I would not have to store my 20+X GB on Zonbu’s Amazon Server … and had not to wait till the wanted song is downloaded.
